In the semi-final stage, the Italians easily defeated the Turkish team 3:0, while the Brazilian athletes gave a great fight to the Americans. In the end, everything was decided by the fifth set, where the Americans turned out to be better.
The bronze medals went to the Brazilians. They beat the Turkish national team 3:1 in the match for the third place.
