Vinicius Junior, one of the key players of “Seleção,” spoke to journalists following Brazil’s defeat in the 2026 World Cup qualifying match.
“We should not play like that anymore, we are in a difficult situation. We should accept criticism and become better.”- said Vinicius.
According to the player, he is fully aware of his potential and does everything he can for the team. He noted that he can’t always score and apologized for that, because it is not as easy as it might seem.
Vinicius also acknowledged the fact, that football is played faster in Europe and that the pitches are better quality than those in Brazil.
