Giorgi Mamardashvili’s “Valencia” faced “Girona” in the sixth round of the Spanish Championship, securing their first victory of the season with a result of 2-0.
The match remained without score in the first half, but “Valencia” stepped up their game after the break, scoring twice in just two minutes. The team took the lead in the 56th minute through an own goal by Juanpe, followed shortly after by a goal from Gomez in the 58th minute.
Mamardashvili made three critical saves afterward, achieving his first clean sheet of the season.
