The teams of “Juventus” and “Watford” Academy won the quarter-final matches of the Vitali Daraselia Cup and will play in the semi-finals.
In the meeting held at “Ilia Kokaia Arena”, “Watford” U16’s opponent was “Galatasaray” academy team. The English played convincingly and beat the opponent with a high score, 4:1.
In the second quarter-final, in Saguramo, “Juventus” met “Locomotive” and gained a two-goal advantage in the first half, scored another goal after the break and finally won 3:0.
Semi-final matches will be held on August 27. “Juventus” will meet “Dinamo Tbilisi”, with whom it lost 1:3 in the group stage meeting, and “Watford” will face “Valencia” to reach the final.
