The new 2024-25 “Big 10” season will begin on September 6 and conclude with the final meeting in May 2025.
Next season, 7 city and regional teams will play at the highest level. Tbilisi has 3 teams in the Big 10 – ‘Lelo-Saracens’, ‘Khvamli’ and ‘Armia’;
Kutaisi will have two teams – ‘Aia’ and ‘Ares’;
And the remaining 5 places are occupied by “Batumi” of Batumi, “Kharebi” of Rustavi, “Kochebi” of Bolnisi, “Kazbegi” of Stefantsminda and “Tao” of Samtskhe-Javakheti.
In the first match of the season, “Armia”, which returned to the higher league, will host the current champion “Aia” on September 6.
On September 7, Big 10 debutant ‘Tao’ will meet vice-champion ‘Lelo’, and ‘Khvamli’ will meet ‘Batumi’;
On September 8, “Kazbegi” will play against the bronze medalist “Kochebi”, and “Kharebi” will play against “Ares”.
