Temur Orjonikidze (77 kg) will fight for the bronze medal at the Under-23 World Championship in Tirana, Albania, after losing in the semi-finals to Samuel the representative of Germany.
Today, another wrestler, Achiko Bolkvadze (87 kg), is competing for a bronze medal from repechage.
The competition is intense, with four Georgian wrestlers set to compete in the final block. Diego Chkhikvadze (67 kg) and current European champion Giorgi Chkhikvadze (72 kg) will wrestle for the gold medal. Pridon Abuladze (60 kg) and Data Chkhaidze (82 kg) will appear in the final block – the Georgians will fight for the bronze medal.
