Journalist Giacomo Cioni of the well-known Italian sports publication “Gazzetta dello sport” says that the 20-year-old Georgian central defender of “Empoli”, Saba Goglichidze, is the discovery of the season.
“Saba is the discovery of the season. He stopped Kenan Yildiz at “Juventus”, although he doesn’t know a word of Italian yet,” says Giacomo Cioni.
In the meeting of the sixth round of Italian Serie A, “Empoli” hosted “Fiorentina” and drew 0:0. The young Georgian defender played a full match and stood quite convincingly in the defense line.
