Former footballer and current Sky Sports sports journalist Paul Merson has spoken out about the crowd’s criticism of Erling Haaland.
The British believes that it is not necessary for a football player to touch the ball many times, the main thing is the result and the goal.
“I laugh when people say he only touched the ball 3 times. I’d rather him score than touch the ball 1,600 times,” says Paul Merson.
In the first round of the Premier League, Erling Haaland managed to make only three passes and was criticized by the crowd, although the player was able to score a goal in the said meeting.
