Davit Niniashvili, a standout player for the Georgian national rugby team, is on the verge of joining a new club.
According to French sports publications, Niniashvili will leave “Lyon” and join “La Rochelle”. “Lyon” is making efforts to retain one of its key players, but the likelihood that Niniashvili will seek new challenges remains high.
“We offered Niniashvili the best conditions. The athlete knows what he can get from us and he doesn’t yet know what awaits him elsewhere,” said the president of “Lyon” Ian Ruber.
