“Newcastle” has made headlines by agreeing to terms with 17-year-old Georgian striker Vakhtang Salia, surprising the management of “Real” Madrid, according to the renowned English publication Teamtalk.
It seems that Salia will become the second Georgian player to play for “Newcastle” after Temur Ketsbaia. He played in this team from 1977-2000 and had 78 matches in the English Premier League.
It has been confirmed that Salia will remain with “Dinamo” until the summer before joining “Newcastle”. Many other giants were interested in him, such as “Real Madrid”, “Dortmund” and “Bayern”, but they were all outmaneuvered by the English club.
