After Ukraine’s 1-0 win against Georgia in the League of Nations, Mykhailo Mudryk, who scored the only goal, shared his thoughts on the match and the team’s performance.
Mudryk expressed a positive evaluation of the team’s overall display, emphasizing his satisfaction with the character shown throughout the game. “I will evaluate the game of the Ukrainian national team positively,” he stated.
Mudryk acknowledged that both teams faced challenges due to the poor pitch conditions. “We were just as dissatisfied with the surface of the field as the Georgians. Anyone who plays football understands the difference between a bad and a good pitch, but the conditions were the same for both teams,” he noted.
When questioned about his performance in relation to Georgia’s Kvaratskhelia, Mudryk minimized the focus on individual achievements. “It’s not about whether I played better or Kvaratskhelia; what matters is that we won,” he stated. “As a striker, scoring is crucial, and I simply did my job.”
As Ukraine advances in the League of Nations, Mudryk’s contributions and reflections underscore the determination and resilience of the national team.
