38-year-old Luka Modric was called up to the Croatian national team.
The “Real” midfielder will help the national team of his country in the League of Nations against Portugal and Poland and will also participate in the qualifying tournament for the World Cup.
He wants to compete in the World Cup in 2026, which will be held in the USA, Canada and Mexico. He will be almost 41 years old by then.
The Croatian national team will play against Portugal on September 5, and against Poland on September 8.
