UFC champion Merab Dvalishvili is excited to announce his return to Georgia on September 29. The Georgian fighter will arrive in Tbilisi at 5 PM and looks forward to meeting his fans.
“I’ll be in Georgia to celebrate my UFC title win with all of you. Join me at the Philharmonic Hall at 6 PM; I want to share this moment together. The next day, September 30, I’ll hold a press conference with Georgian journalists”- said Dvalishvili.
The next day, the champion plans to meet his fans in Adjara, specifically in Batumi. He will also visit fans in Imereti and his home village. Dvalishvili stated that he will be in Georgia for 3 to 4 days.
The athlete is the new UFC super lightweight champion. On September 15, the 33-year-old Georgian fighter secured the title by defeating American Sean O’Malley.
This victory marks Dvalishvili’s 11th consecutive win in the UFC, with his last loss occurring in 2018.
