Former forward of the Italian national team, world champion Luca Toni is in Tbilisi, who visited the “Inter Georgia” academy within the framework of the Italian Sports Days.
The 2006 World Champion and “Golden Boot” winner met with the young players, shared his experience, and wished them success.
The veteran Italian football player will play in the padel tournament in Tbilisi together with former players of the Georgian national team, Shota Arveladze, Levan Mchedlidze and Jano Ananidze. The tournament is sponsored by the Embassy of Italy in Georgia.
“I am glad that I am in the academy of “Inter” and I met young players. I also had big dreams at their age. I want to encourage them, because it is important. They are young, maybe in the future they will be in the national team and play in the world and European championships,” said Luca Toni.
