The five-member Georgian national team took part in the European Youth Championship of professional triathletes held in the Republic of Turkey, in which Levan Giligashvili, an employee of the Patrol Police Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, competed.
Levan Giligashvili lifted a 180 kg barbell in the 74 kg weight category, took second place and won a silver medal. With this title, Levan Giligashvili set an European record in the 74 kg weight category.
Police colonel Levan Giligashvili is an international master of sports, he has won various international titles.
