In the first meeting of the third stage of the Conference League, Tbilisi “Iberia 1999” will face Turkish “Basaksehir”. The meeting will start at 20:00 at the square named after Mikheil Meskhi in Tbilisi.
The Turkish team meets the meeting with the experience of European tournaments. In recent years, they have competed in every European tournament, and quite solidly at that. Special attention is paid to the former forward of “Milan” from Poland, Krzysztof Piątek.
“Iberia 1999” is the only Georgian team that continues to fight for European tournaments. “Dinamo Tbilisi” was eliminated from the competition at the first stage. Batumi “Dinamo” and Kutaisi “Torpedo” bid farewell to the fight for European tournaments from the second stage.
“Iberia 1999” will meet “Başakşehir”.
