Vakhtang Lolua (60 kg) lost to Javadov from Azerbaijan in the finals of the under-17 World Championship of Wrestlers in Amman, Jordan, and won a bronze medal.
Giorgi Aladashvili also had a good performance. Georgian athlete competed in the 71 kg weight category. He won a bronze medal.
The third medal was won by Vladimer Minadze from Georgia, who competed in the 92 kg weight category. He defeated Turkish wrestler Serkan Bakir for bronze.
Greco-Roman style competition ended today. Georgian wrestlers finished the competition with three medals.
From tomorrow, men’s freestyle wrestlers will participate in the competition.
