“Our wish was to play at Dinamo Arena. It’s heartbreaking that it didn’t happen. The stadium is currently unable to accommodate fans on the first tier. As soon as this problem is resolved, the team will play at Dinamo Arena again.
Even before the playoff games, we talked to Antal Yaakobishvili and we wanted him to play for the Georgian national team, but he refused. A few days ago, he informed us that he made a choice in favor of the Hungarian national team,” -said Iashvili.
The Georgian football team will start the 2024/25 Nations League season with a match against the Czech Republic on September 7. The meeting will start at “Mikheil Meskhi” at 20:00. In the second round, the Georgian national team will meet Albania as a guest on September 10.
