The men’s tennis team of Georgia defeated the team of Mexico 3:2 in the World Group II of the Davis Cup.
In the decisive match, Aleksandre Bakshi beat Rubio Fierros in two sets 6:3, 7:6 (5).
On the second day of play, Aleksandre Bakshi and Zurab Tkemaladze triumphed over the Mexican duo of Pacheco Mendez and Reyes Varela in three sets (6:1, 1:6, 6:3). Meanwhile, Saba Purtseladze was defeated by Pacheco Mendez in singles.
