Freestyle wrestler Geno Petriashvili, who won the Paris Olympic Games in the 125 kg weight category, comments after returning to his homeland.
“It is a great emotion and feeling that we met so many cool people. There were many defeats and many victories. Thank God that everything ended well. Georgians are great people, we prove it every time. I want to congratulate the Georgian people on these victories. We do, we try to do our best in the competition and carry the flag of our country with dignity”, said Geno Petriashvili.
Geno Petriashvili defeated Iranian Amir Hossein Zare in the final of the Olympics, 10:9 in a tense fight and became the Olympic champion.
