In their opening match of the Euro 2025 qualifying stage, the Georgian Under-17 national team suffered a 1-2 defeat against Slovenia.
In the 31st minute of the meeting, Andria Baratashvili opened the score, but the Slovenians gathered their strength and scored the winning goals at the start of the second half, at the 49th and 51st minutes.
Next, the Georgian team will face Poland, who recently achieved a commanding 8-0 win against Armenia, placing them at the top of the group.
The meeting of the under-17 national teams of Georgia and Poland will be held on October 12.
