A court in San Isidro, Argentina, has granted the request of Diego Maradona’s children to transfer the football legend’s remains to a mausoleum, according to the publication “Clarin.”
Diego Maradona is buried in the private cemetery of Vista. The body will be transferred after the construction of the mausoleum, which is being built in the center of Buenos Aires.
His children believe this new location will offer enhanced safety compared to the current site. “This place is much safer than the current one. The Argentine people and the citizens of the world will be able to pay respect to their idol” – said Maradona’s children.
