Budu Zivzivadze, forward for the Georgian national team and German club “Karlsruhe”, recently spoke out about the absence of political oppression within the team.
“It is impossible for someone in the national team to be oppressed because of politics. If this were not the case, then I would not be there anymore,” said Budu Zivzivadze.
Zivzivadze’s comments come as the Georgian national team prepares for two important matches in the UEFA Nations League this October. On October 11, they will face off Ukraine in the Polish city of Poznan, and on October 14, they will take on Poland at the Mikheil Meskhi Square.
