Georgian tennis player Mariam Bolkvadze faced a tough challenge in the first qualifying round of the Beijing 1000-point tournament, where she suffered a defeat from the representative of Germany Tamara Korpatsch.
The player showcased her skill and dominance throughout the match, easily claiming the first set 6-1. She continued her strong play in the second set, winning 6-3 to eliminate Bolkvadze from the tournament.
With Bolkvadze’s departure, Tamara Korpatsch will face the American player Alycia Parks in the next round.
