Georgian tennis star Nikoloz Basilashvili continues to show signs of returning to his best form, giving fans renewed hope for a revival of his past successes.
This time, Basilashvili defeated the Australian Sekulic in three sets and entered the 1/8 finals of Matsuyama’s 75-point challenger.
Basilashvili convincingly won the first set 6:3, but the Australian was able to equalize the score in the second set (6:4). In the end, the Georgian was the winner in the decider and won 6:4.
The next opponent of the Georgian will be Mochizuki from Japan.
