Georgian tennis player Nikoloz Basilashvili defeated Slovak Jozef Kovalik, the first number of the tournament, at Comos Challenger.
The match lasted for three sets. In the first set, Basilashvili won easily 6:2, but lost with the same score in the second set. Georgian athlete won 6:4 in the decisive set.
Nikoloz Basilashvili’s opponent at the next stage will be Kei Nishikori, the former number four in the world ranking.
