Georgian national team member Ana Japaridze (52 kg) won a bronze medal in Para Taekwondo on the debut day of the current Summer Paralympic Games in Paris.
The Georgian para-athlete defeated the Egyptian opponent in extra time in the match for the third place by the decision of the referees.
The second Georgian athlete Lia Chachibaia (47kg) who participated in the para taekwondo tournament today lost the first match and was eliminated from the competition.
